Meet the Course Coordinator

Juliana Jorden (B.Ed. & M.Ed.)


Juliana Jorden has a Master in Education in Developmental Psychology. She has twenty years of experience teaching students of all ages in Canada, the UK and Switzerland, with experience in the development and implementation of the EAL (English as second language) curriculum.

 

Juliana has worked as an Instructor in the English Language Center department at the University of Prince Edward Island since 2019, with a focus on supporting newly entering undergraduate and graduate students.

 

During that time, she taught a variety of subjects, including a variety of business topics, both at undergraduate and graduate level. His expertise is in professional communication such as presentations (both formal and informal), networking, clear and concise communication, appropriate use of vocabulary in formal settings and Canadian work culture.

Krissi is Senior Advisor for Experimental Education, a mission of the UPEI department, which provides students with opportunities to build bridges between university learning and the community as part of the career development process.

With over 10 years of experience in events, Robyn Gallant has developed professionally in the province of Prince Edward Island, becoming a local reference. A graduate of Arcadia University for Stage/Arts Management, she acquired skills in the sound and lighting industries, basic design and project management. Believing that events should be stress-free for her clients, Robyn Gallant founded her company, “Eventurous Consulting”. His experience ranges from working with the government, through French-speaking immigration, to the wine industry, being a universe of different segments that have benefited from his incredible experience in events and business.

International Trade & Inco Terms, with Mr. William Pound, Diplomat & Private Investor

William Pound is currently a private equity investor with a deep background in international business development, with extensive public and private experience.

Over 35 years as a Canadian diplomat and in private business, he has held leadership positions both in government and in business, always focusing on international operations and creating bridges and links between various institutions to make countless projects viable.

With experience in Brazil, Peru, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, developing deep global business networks and insights, William Pound has worked on several fronts, including one of the largest UN business support NGOs, major negotiations such as NAFTA, and lectures at various universities with the theme of international business.
